ePayPolicy and AgencyOne Configuration - ePayPolicy
The guide details a two-step process for AgencyOne Admins to enable real-time ePayPolicy transaction viewing by first obtaining an Impersonation Key from ePayPolicy’s API Credentials under the Vertafore AgencyOne account, then configuring this key and assigning appropriate AgencyOne users access within the AgencyOne Admin Settings to add the ePayPolicy widget to their dashboards.
To view real-time ePayPolicy transactions in AgencyOne, your Admin will need to complete two setup steps:
- 1.Gather the ePayPolicy Impersonation Key
- 2.Configure the key and users inside AgencyOne
Step 1: ePayPolicy Impersonation Key
Follow these steps to gather the ePayPolicy Impersonation Key:
- Only users with access to ePayPolicy can complete this step.
- 1.Log into ePayPolicy at: https://app.epaypolicy.com/
- 2.In the left-handed menu, select Accounts
- 3.Under Account, select API Credentials
- 4.Click Add Impersonation Key
- 5.In the Impersonating Account field, search for “Vertafore AgencyOne”
- 6.Select Vertafore AgencyOne
- 7.Click Confirm
- 8.The Impersonation Key will display on the screen
- 9.Select Copy to copy the full key
You will paste this key into AgencyOne in the next step.
Step 2: Configure ePayPolicy in AgencyOne
Follow these steps to configure the ePayPolicy widget:
- 1.As an AgencyOne Admin, go to Admin Settings → Settings for [Logged-In Set] → ePayPolicy Configuration
- 2.Select Add Key and paste the copied Impersonation Key into the Key field
- 3.Enter an Account Name
- Tip: It is recommended to use the ePayPolicy account name or the associated business unit name.
- 4.Search for and add the users who should have access to the ePayPolicy widget
- These users must already exist in AgencyOne
- They should align with users who have ePayPolicy access for that account
- If a user does not appear in search, they are not yet provisioned in AgencyOne
- 5.Save your configuration.
- You may add multiple accounts and assign users to more than one account if needed.
- 6.Once saved, provisioned users can add the ePayPolicy widget to their dashboard using Edit Dashboard
- 7.After adding the widget, users will see Recent ePayPolicy Transactions when they log into AgencyOne
