Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) User Reset Recovery - ePayPolicy
The ePayPolicy guide explains that if a user loses access to their Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) due to a lost, stolen, or erased mobile device, they can reset MFA by logging into the ePay Dashboard, selecting the Recovery Code option, entering their previously saved offline Recovery Code, and re-enrolling in MFA, but if the Recovery Code is unavailable, an Admin Account User must contact ePayPolicy support for assistance, with all resets triggering notification emails to the user and Admin.
We understand that life happens and there may be a time when your mobile device is lost, stolen, or erased. For these reasons, when you registered for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), you were provided a Recovery Code and encouraged to save this in an offline location.
How to Reset MFA with a Recovery Code
- 1.Log into the ePay Dashboard at https://app.epaypolicy.com/
- 2.Select the Recovery Code option
- 3.Retrieve the Recovery Code from your offline location
- 4.Enter the Recovery Code
- 5.Re-enroll in Multi-Factor Authentication
How to Reset MFA without a Recovery Code
If you do not have your Recovery Code or you are unable to reset your MFA with the above steps, an Admin Account User(s) must contact ePayPolicy support at 844-372-9300 for assistance.
Keep in Mind
All MFA resets will send an email to you and the Admin Account User(s) informing them of the reset.
